Black Country Canal Loop
A short canal-side walk through industrial heritage, terraces and the older road pattern close to Smethwick.
The route follows the canal-side edge and nearby streets where the industrial landscape still leaves traces in the town plan. It is a useful companion to the film work on the lost brook and the broader changing ground of the Black Country.
